1903
Foundation

Georgiadis Tourism & Shipping was established in 1903 by Mr. George M. Georgiadis as the first port and tour agency in Rhodes, being the 47 th oldest business in the Dodecanese Islands region of Greece.

1938 - 1970
Evolvement

In 1938 Mr. Pavlos Georgiadis took over the company as second generation and successfully continued to expand the company in new innovative fields of tourism, such as the first touristic coach and 8-seater taxis in 1950s. Some of the company’s portfolio of clients were Hellenic Mediterranean Lines (ELMES), Embiricos Brothers&Byron Steamship Co, Hamburg American Lines, and others. He was one of the founding members of the Travel Agents Association of Rhodes, established in 1970.

1978
Recent History
In 1978 Mr. George Georgiadis and Mr. Kostas Georgiadis, sons of Mr. Pavlos Georgiadis, took over the company continuing its long-term tradition focusing on the upcoming cruise shipping industry and based on the values they inherited, they continued to play a key role in the local tourism industry of Rhodes, both as port and tour agents but also by having an active part in local community and infrastructure development.
2015 - present
Today

Having set the foundations for more than a century of family expertise in the tourism industry, Mr. Pavlos Georgiadis, 4 th generation continues from 2015 the long-term traditions. The company has evolved and represented locally some of the leading brands of the Cruise and Tourism Industry keeping up to their standards.
